Q. How long can I go away for in any one trip with
the annual multi-trip policy?
A. The maximum trip length is 31days. You can travel as
many times as you like during the year so long as any individual
trip does not exceed this limit.
Q. What sports are covered by the policy?
A. The policy specifies the sports which are covered. They
are:
Archery, badminton, banana boating, baseball, basket-ball,
bowls, cricket, curling, cycling, deep-sea fishing, fell
walking, fishing, glacier walking, golf, gymnastics, heptathlon,
hiking, kite surfing, marathon running, netball, orienteering,
pony trekking, racket ball, rambling, ringos, rounders,
running, scuba diving to a depth of 30 metres (if you hold
a certificate for this or you are diving with a qualified
instructor), snorkelling, softball, squash, surfing, swimming,
table tennis, tennis, ten pin bowling, trekking, tug of
war, volley ball, wakeboarding, walking, water polo, water
skiing, windsurfing and zorbing.
Please note the policy does NOT cover for any sport which
you undertake professionally. Winter sports can be covered
if you purchase the winter sports option on our "extra"
policy.
Q. I am already travelling; can I buy a policy
from you?
A. No, we're afraid that currently we are unable to offer
policies to people who are already abroad.
Q. I am not a British citizen but I reside in Britain
permanently. Can I buy a policy?
A. Yes, you certainly can. Our policy can cover anyone who
is a British resident; this is described as a person who
has their main home in the United Kingdom and has not spent
more than six months outside the United Kingdom during the
year before your policy was issued.

1cover Standard Travel Insurance is typically suitable
for those who wish to insure themselves when travelling
for medical emergencies, delayed departures, missed departures,
cancellation & curtailment, delayed possessions, loss
of passport, personal accident, personal liability, and
legal expenses whilst overseas.
1cover Extra Travel Insurance is typically suitable for
those who wish to insure themselves when travelling for
medical emergencies, delayed departures, missed departures,
cancellation & curtailment, delayed possessions, lost
or stolen possessions, loss of travel money and passport,
personal accident, personal liability, and legal expenses
whilst overseas.
You may already possess alternative insurance(s) for some
or all of the features and benefits provided by this product.
It is your responsibility to investigate this.
